Soccer Club and the Holmdel Soccer Club agreed to merge and operate
under the new name of the Holmdel F. C. Look for our new logo and
updated webpage in Spring 2012.
Celtic
capture NJ Cup The Holmdel NJX
Celtic 01/02 (U10) Girls captured the 2012 US Club Soccer NJ Cup championship on
May 13th at Mercer County Park. The New Jersey Cup championship is a
single elimination tournament open to all US Club soccer teams
throughout the state of New Jersey. The tournament takes place over a
two month period.

Holmdel
mourns one of our family The
Holmdel FC is deeply saddened by the loss of Russell Dronne on January
21, 2012. Russell served for many years and in many capacities, most
recently as Stallions Treasurer and Coach. In addition, Russell was
active in the Holmdel Township Committee and the Holmdel Youth Athletic
Association. Russell touched the lives of a great many, as evidenced by
the heartfelt outpouring at his recent wake. We will all greatly miss
him.
Arsenal
are JAGS Champions The Arsenal
U14 Girls became the Jersey Area Girls Soccer (JAGS) Olympic-Central
Champions Fall 2011. They completed their Fall 2011 season undefeated
with a record of 7 wins, 0 losses, and 1 tie. Arsenal scored the most
goals in the division this season, with 23 goals, while allowing only 6.

Girls make All-Division
Five former or current Holmdel
Stallions girls’ players were chosen for the Fall 2011 A-Central
All-Division team after playing for the Holmdel High School girls’
soccer team. Lauren Reidy (senior) and Ally Marchiano (sophomore) were
named First Team. Amanda Hall (senior), Shannon Wall (junior), and
Jessica Moskal (sophomore) were all named Second Team. See the Feb 2012

player inducted into OCC Hall of Fame
Lynda Friggle of the Women Mystic Ryders, was inducted Fall 2011 into
the Ocean County College Athletic Hall of Fame.
Mystic
Ryders Capture Championship
Playing under the name “Jersey Girls”, the Mystic Ryders Women captured
the Fall 2011 North B Championship at Wall GoodSports.
Chelsea
rack up accomplishments
The NJX 03/04 Boys Chelsea captured the 2012 NJ Indoor Cup
(U8 Division). In addition they took 1st place in 2012 Teaneck one-day
tournament (U8 Division), 1st place in both the Goodsports 2011
and 2012 Winter League seasons (U9 Division), 2nd place in the combined
NY/NJ/PA Winter 2012 Teaneck Tournament of Champions (U8 Division), and
first place in the Fall 2011 Premier-2 flight of MOSA.

sophomore excels Lennon Cooper took 2nd and 3rd at the
Holmdel Monmouth County Track Championship.
In addition, Lennon is a referee for the Club and her father, Sam
Cooper, is coach of the NJX Juventus. See

the wide smiles and stunning, panoramic photo, the Holmdel Stallions
2011 summer camp was a huge success!

Coach of the Year Paul Golden,
coach of the NJX Inter (01/02 Boys), was chosen as Coach
of the Year for 2010/2011 season by
New Jersey Youth Soccer (NJYS).

sponsor special soccer camp The
Holmdel FC is sponsoring the Top Soccer Program for special needs
children, the only sports clinic of its kind in Holmdel. For example,
Esther Pruscino of Holmdel states, "This program is awesome." See

Holmdel FC scores big in ODP
26 Holmdel SC and NJX players have
qualified for various levels in the Olympic Development Program (ODP)
